Following on Patrck Matthiesen’s visit to the Amazon in March 2016 and the development plan for several projects recorded in an earlier blog I am pleased to announce that great progress has been achieved. Solar lighting has been installed in several houses but above all at the Primary School and kindergarten in Porto Prado. This has been a huge success as you can see from the accompanying PDFbelow.

In Padre Cocha the children’s play areas have been initiated, a ‘football field’ put at their disposal and the kids are relating with the animal sanctuary adjacent run by Gudrun. Again see the PDF for delightful images.
