Young Artists Concert Series- Magdalene Ho

We are delighted to announce that the young Malaysian pianist Magdalene Ho will perform at the Matthiesen Gallery on Wednesday 12 June. Magdalene came to the Purcell School in 2013 at the age of 11 to study with Patsy Toh. Since 2022 she has been at the Royal College of Music (RCM) studying with Dmitri Alexeev. Adding to an impressive list of achievements, last year Magdalene was a finalist at the Düsseldorf Schumann Competition and was awarded the Joan Chissell Schumann Prize for Piano by the RCM a few weeks later. A highlight of her recital will be a performance of Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze.
